This tour brought a message of compassion for all animals to countless people in the Los Angeles area. On Thursday we were able to park the truck in a terrific spot right off the 3rd St. Promenade in Santa Monica to show Farm to Fridge. The spot had tons of foot traffic. People gathered around the right side and back of the truck to see the film, while others watched the screen on the left side from across the street.
Thousands of people saw the film and numerous people told me they wanted to adopt a vegetarian diet because of it. Many were even moved to tears. We received fantastic media coverage from print, radio, and TV stations. Our night in Santa Monica went so well that we decided to take the truck out again Friday night to another great spot on Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood.

I cannot wait for our next events in San Diego!
Many local activists helped out at the events. We handed out over 1,500 leaflets and nearly 200 people asked for an MFA Vegetarian Starter Kit. This campaign has already reaffirmed my faith in people and is proving to be extremely effective at changing hearts and minds. Most people on the street are very supportive of what we are doing and are horrified to learn about the inhumane treatment farmed animals endure before reaching the dinner plate.
